The Planless Poem

This is the planless poem.

I have no idea where it will lead.
Perhaps into memories of
Childhood,
A green uniform
On a greenhorn.

A greenhorn, thrust
Into a world of
Aggression, left
To fend for himself.

Quickly learning,
Theft
Was shrugged off.
Protect
What's yours or
Lose it.

I couldn't take the next step,
Lay claim to what is
Not yours
And claim
Often enough
To make it yours.
